Blackberry Bold 9900, una (vera) alternativa all’iPhone
Prime impressioni sul nuovo portacolori della canadese Rim. La combinazione fra tastiera Qwerty e schermo touch funziona, un po’ in ombra le prestazioni della fotocamera
In un panorama nel quale gli smartphone si assomigliano un po’ tutti, il nuovo Blackberry Bold 9900 sembra davvero una voce fuori dal coro.
E che il nuovo portacolori della canadese Rim sia un’alternativa vera all’iPhone, ai cellulari Android e a tutti gli altri modelli che tirano di questi tempi lo capisci innanzitutto dal form factor: un Blackberry “classico” (anche se decisamente più sottile ed elegante rispetto ai suoi predecessori) ma con in più un display touch capacitivo.
Insomma sei di fronte a un ibrido che sa cavarsela egregiamente sia quando si tratta di scrivere a tutta velocità sia quando devi sbrigare tutte quelle faccende che con le dita diventano gioco forza più semplici (ad esempio sfogliare le pagine Web).
Se sulle doti della tastiera Qwerty di Rim non ci sono mai stati dubbi, le sorprese (in positivo) arrivano dallo schermo tattile che grazie anche alla tecnologia proprietaria Liquid Graphics si dimostra piuttosto fluido e reattivo (nulla a che vedere con gli esperimenti dei due Storm).
Certo, rispetto ai display maggiorati dei telefoni full-touch lo schermo del nuovo Bold (che di pollici ne ha solo 2,8) impone qualche sacrificio e c’è da chiedersi perché Rim non abbia introdotto il sistema di riadattamento delle pagine visto sul Torch. Ma il risultato nel complesso è pregevole.
Non si tocca ma c’è (e si sente) il nuovo procesore da 1.2 GHz più che adeguato per far girare un sistema operativo come Blackberry OS7. Non sarebbe guastato, invece, qualche “cavallo” in più all’interno della fotocamera. Nonostante i 5 megapixel e il supporto ai video in HD (720p) l’obiettivo del nuovo Bold 9900 non si può certo definire un passo avanti rispetto al passato.
Il prezzo (Iva inclusa) è di 649 euro.

Second on the list of updates for this ROM is the addition of a WiFi hotspot feature. RIM has promised that Bold 9900 users would see this feature put on their devices at some point, so it should not come as a huge shock.

da possessore del bold 9900 chiamarlo VALIDA ALTERNATIVA AD IPHONE è un pò troppo!
diciamo che è un bel terminale ma assulutamente non vale 649 euro!
io l'ho trovato usato a metà prezzo e qui si può già ragionare.
La fotocamera è pessima anche usata in condizioni di forte luminosità.
App inesistenti in confronto a iphone.
tutto il resto è ben fatto in grande stile blackberry.
dipende secondo me uno cosa ci deve fare, io mando un sacco di mail e messaggi e per me è comodissimo
