Nokia presenta Lumia 800 e Lumia 710, i suoi primi Windows Phone

Dopo aver insistito per anni sulla amatissima piattaforma Symbian, Nokia ha dovuto rassegnarsi all’evidenza: i suoi telefoni hanno bisogno di una nuova anima, e quell’anima si chiama Windows Phone, il sistema operativo di Microsoft.
Così con i nuovi Lumia 800 e Lumia 710, presentati in queste ore a Londra, la casa finlandese apre un capitolo tutto nuovo nella sua storia: addio telefonini tutti fatti in casa, da oggi si apre concretamente la strada della collaborazione con il colosso di Redmond.
I primi due frutti di questa partnership sono due smartphone al passo coi tempi, forse non rivoluzionari, ma comunque in grado di ben figurare in un’arena di mercato dove non sono ammessi errori.
Nokia Lumia 800 è uno smartphone che assomiglia molto da vicino al già noto Nokia N9 e che si caratterizza esteticamente per il display leggermente ricurvo da 3,7 pollici Amoled ClearBlack. Sotto il cofano una dotazione di tutto rispetto che prevede un processore da 1,4 GHz con accelerazione hardware e processore grafico, fotocamera da 8 megapixel con ottiche Carl Zeiss, riproduzione video in HD, 16 GB di memoria utente interna e 25 GB di memoria disponibile con SkyDrive per salvare immagini e musica.
Decisamente più sbarazzino il nuovo Nokia Lumia 710, terminale che può essere personalizzato con una serie di cover intercambiabili e comunque ben attrezzato sul piano della risorse funzionali: display ClearBack da 3.7 pollici, processore da 1.4 GHz, fotocamera da 5 megapixel (con videocapture da 1280 x 720 pixel a 30 fps) e 8 giga di memoria espandibile.
Entrambi i telefoni saranno equipaggiati con Windows Phone 7.5, nome in codice Mango, ultimissimo aggiornamento del sistema operativo mobile di Microsoft che si avvale fra l’altro di Internet Explorer 9 come browser.
Oltre ai principali applicativi del mondo Windows Phone (da Office a Xbox ai vari social network), i nuovi cellulari Nokia mettono sul piatto Nokia Drive, un software satellitare con sistema di guida turn-by-turn gratuito e interfaccia vocale, Nokia Music con MixRadio, un’applicazione mobile di musica in streaming gratuita e globale, e Gigfinder un’opzione che consente di cercare musica live locale, di condividere i brani trovati sui social network e acquistare biglietti per i concerti.
Nokia Lumia 800 e Nokia Lumia 710 saranno in vendita in Italia dal mese di novembre rispettivamente a un prezzo di 499 euro (Iva inclusa) e 270 euro (tasse e sovvenzioni escluse).
