Cybercriminali cercano nuove leve, e lo pubblicizzano online
WASHINGTON (Reuters) - I cybercriminali che hanno diffuso nel mondo il malware che ruba dai pc i dati relativi alla carta di credito — usati poi per svuotare il conto in banca dei malcapitati — vogliono assumere, e lo stanno pubblicizzando online.Come ha spiegato lunedì Kevin Stevens, analista di SecureWorks, nell’ambito della Black Hat cybersecurity conference vicino Washington, due società che stanno cercando personale lo hanno annunciato sul Web.Quello che le società cercano sono persone che prendano codici malware che vengono loro forniti e li linkino a qualcosa su cui la gente cliccherà, come per esempio una foto di Britney Spears che esce dall’auto. Queste persone possono ricevere un compenso per ogni 1.000 volte che il malware viene scaricato.Un sito, ad esempio, offre 180 dollari ogni 1.000 download di malware in computer americani, meno per pc di un altro Paese e niente per download dalla Russia, circostanza che — secondo Stevens — fa sospettare che il sito abbia sede proprio lì.”Vi paghiamo attraverso i seguenti sistemi: Fethard, WebMoney, Wire, e-gold, Western Union (Wu), MoneyGram, Anelik e ePassporte, e PayPal”, si legge sul sito.Stevens ha spiegato che è impossibile sapere quanti computer sono stati infettati da queste compagnie, ma secondo lui si tratta di diversi milioni di apparecchi.— Sul sito www.reuters.it le altre notizie Reuters in italiano. Simple things can be done to help those people fight cyber crime. Make sure that they only transact, get update, subscribe, and or read emails from a certain person or business they really knew. If, apparently, they are receiving emails or notification concerning any things especially their banks, make sure that you contact bank first to confirm if those messages are really from them. If you are really unsure to the emails, even if its asking you to click any links, just hover your mouse first to see the redirection page of that specific link. You can also check the preference of your email, where you can see the full header of the emails, it will state the the IP of the sender. Always transact you confidential bank of account at secured network.
