Le webapp di Windows 8
Adozione di tecnologie web e del lavoro svolto nel settore “mobile” per ripensare e reimplementare alcune parti del sistema operativo: a partire dal menù Start
In occasione della manifestazione D9 Microsoft ha fornito un’anteprima della prossima edizione del suo sistema operativo Windows.
Secondo Microsoft il PC con Windows 8 è in realtà “un nuovo tipo di dispositivo che si adegua dai display con solo controlli touch ai grandi schermi, e alla presenza o meno di tastiera o mouse”. L’azienda ha perciò deciso di prendere spunto da Windows Phone 7 e puntare non solo sulla tecnologia touch ma anche sulle webapp, realizzate tramite tecnologie web.
Nello specifico Microsoft ha creato una nuova interfaccia che rimpiazza il menù Start di Windows con un mosaico -personalizzabile e flessibile- delle già note “Live Tile”, realizzate in HTML5 e Javascript.
L’azienda di Redmond ha diffuso un filmato intitolato “Building Windows 8 – Video #1″ in cui il Project Manager Jensen Harris spiega e mostra in azione il nuovo menù, pardon, la nuova schermata Start.
Il titolo fa capire che si tratta solo del primo di una serie di filmati e che le novità di Windows 8 non finiscono qui. Come afferma anche Julie Larson-Green, Corporate Vice President di Microsoft addetta alla “Windows Experience”, “nei prossimi mesi arriveranno numerose innovazioni”.

ARM versione di Internet Explorer - Windows 8 sarà disponibile con IE10 - le applicazioni su misura dovrebbe diventare multipiattaforma.
