Arriva il VoIP evoluto di Tiscali
L’operatore ha lanciato indoona, servizio che ha qualche punto innovativo rispetto ai concorrenti e tariffe super economiche
Risparmio: 0,8 cent al minuto verso fissi, 10 cent verso i mobili. Innovazione: rubrica intelligente che dice in automatico quando gli i propri contatti sono raggiungibili gratis via internet. Sono questi gli aspetti principali che differenziano il nuovo servizio VoIP di Tiscali, chiamato indoona e basato su software per computer, iPhone e Android.
E’ una parola sarda che significa “tutto in uno”. L’idea di Tiscali è appunto di offrire qualcosa che fa tante cose, integrando fisso e mobile. Ha la presence, permette di mandare messaggi, chiamare e videochiamare altri utenti indoona. Dà un numero di telefono italiano (a 24 euro al mese). Permette di telefonare a tariffe molto economiche (anchee rispetto ad altri servizi VoIP) i normali numeri. Fin qui c’è poco di innovativo, ma indoona va oltre.
Nella rubrica intelligente del software l’utente trova i propri contatti caricati su cellulare e vede quelli che hanno attivato indoona. Il server, insomma, riesce a capire quali numeri di cellulare sono associati ad account indoona. In fase di registrazione, infatti, bisogna indicare un numero di cellulare. Il vantaggio è che non c’è bisogno di sapere il nome del proprio contatto indoona (a differenza di quanto avviene con Skype e altri servizi VoIP). Si chiama un numero di cellulare e, se a quel contatto corrisponde un utente indoona attivo, la telefonata sarà VoIP, gratuita, automaticamente. Sì, è la stessa idea di Viber, mutuata da Tiscali. In più, la telefonata da indoona ha come identificativo chiamante il numero di cellulare associato. Con altri servizi VoIP invece esce chiamante anonimo o un numero non riconducibile all’utente.
Tiscali procederà con l’integrazione fisso-mobile e permetterà in futuro anche videochiamate tra utenti indoona e videotelefoni su linea fissa (non connessi a internet).
Come si vede, è tornato il bel tempo sui servizi VoIP italiani. Come dimostrano altri lanci recenti.
