Le prime Google Tv Samsung
Alleanza tra i due colossi: ne verranno tv di marchio Samsung dotate della piattaforma Google Tv, con Android e probabilmente accesso al market delle applicazioni. Sarà la volta buona?
Stavolta Google è riuscita a mettere a segno l’accordo che mancava per la spinta della piattaforma Google Tv: con Samsung, il principale produttore di apparecchi televisi al mondo. Lo riporta Reuters. Nel 2012 arriveranno quindi le prime tv di marchio Samsung con la Google Tv: Android 3.1 e probabile accesso, finalmente, al market delle applicazioni. Pochi giorni prima Google aveva incassato anche l’alleanza con LG, mentre si defilava da Logitech.
Finalmente ci siamo? La Google Tv ha avuto storia travagliata, ma forse era solo questione di tempo perché imprimesse la sua impronta nel modo con cui la gente vede i programmi in salotto. Il fenomeno è forte: ormai i principali modelli hanno connessione a Internet e un portale di contenuti; gli utenti, a partire dagli Usa, spendono sempre più tempo a vedere i video Internet in tv.
Insomma, avanza, irrefrenabile, un nuovo modo di fruire della multimedialità: on demand, interattiva, connessa al web (e al web 2.0), su molteplici device (non solo computer, ma anche cellulari e tv). Questo è il fenomeno ormai noto ma adesso è tempo che diventi di massa: l’alleanza Google-Samsung sarà forse il tassello fondamentale. Quello che manca, del resto, ai portali tv è il senso della piattaforma e un maggiore respiro Internet: è quello che appunto Google potrebbe fornire. Mentre trasforma in tal senso il proprio YouTube.
